Since Kane had given Giselle the position of Personal Bodyguard to the Marseille Elite, they had been constant companions. She had done her part to fill some of the void left in Kane's life since the death of his beloved Wife, Terra. The void was more of a black hole, however, and as much as Kane tried, he often felt lonely. Could anyone ever replace Terra? Kane hoped so, but it was a hope in vain. In his most depressed moments he knew that no woman would ever make him happy as Terra had. But Giselle seemed to be trying. Over the last few days their relationship had gone from mainly business to mainly fun. Giselle sure was fun. She was also very sexy. Kane took advantage of her willing desires and Giselle seemed to not mind at all. She made love with the enthusiasm of a recently deflowered nymph and Kane enjoyed every minute of her company.
　
"You drive us home, Giselle. You sexy little minx." Kane said to her as they left the Opera House and walked to the curb as the valet pulled up in Kanes black Bugatti. "Sure thing, Sexy Boss" Giselle said chirpily and giggled when Kane tapped her firm little ass. She took the keys from the valet and gave him a cheeky wink. She slipped into the drivers seat and gave Kane and the valet a flash of her beautiful thighs. Kane gave the valet a substantial tip and then skipped to the passenger side door. Giselle gunned the engine and Kane squeezed her thigh as she depressed the clutch, feeling her muscles tense and the blood pump hot through her veins. "Get us back to the Chateaux, Giselle, and don't spare the horses." Kane ordered.

She floored the gas and soon they were whizzing out of the City and winding through the country lanes towards the Chateaux De la Buzine. The palatial residence had been Kane and Terra's home for many years and he couldn't help thinking of her when they pulled into the driveway and then stopped outside the valet's cottage. Romario Foncetti was awake and waiting and rushed to the drivers door and opened it for Giselle. She passed him the keys and got out as Kane eased out of the passenger seat. They allowed Romario to drive the Bugatti towards the garage before they started to walk for the Chateaux's main doors.
　
"Would you like me to stay the night?" Giselle asked as Kane wrapped an arm around her tiny waist. "Of course, Giselle. It is your duty as my Personal Bodyguard." Kane replied as they reached the steps leading up to the large Chateaux entrance. "Will I be required to sleep in your room?" Giselle asked as Kane opened the doors with a swipe of his palm. Kane laughed and pulled her into the reception hall. "I think you know the answer to that question" Kane said as he nibbled her neck and rubbed his hands up her thighs. "Oohh.Yessss, Boss. Anything you say" Giselle said between cute little giggles and allowed him to lead her to the Brocaddo Suite.

They walked up the staircase to the top floor and Kane pushed the bedroom door open. The room had recently been refurbished to help Kane forget his deceased Wife. All of the old furniture and Terra's belongings had been stored in the vast attic above them. He pulled Giselle inside and closed the door with a flick of his heal. The scented candles flickered into life and smooth sultry music came from the speakers hidden behind the picture frames. Soon the pair were kissing feverishly and just as Kane was sliding her knickers down her thighs he was halted by a gut churning screech. Giselle slapped her hand to her mouth and stifled a scream. Her eyes were wide with fright and stared at Kane with an expresson which read. "What the Hell was that?"
　
The candles blew out and the windows frosted over. The paintings on the walls seemed to melt and the idyllic scenes and landscapes were replaced with images from the bowls of Hell. Kanes heart pounded in his chest and a chill raced up his spine. "Shit. I sense Terra." He said in a hushed but stress filled voice. Giselle unholstered her weapons as Kane cocked an ear to the ceiling. He thought he heard movement and concentrated his senses to search the attic. "Damn. It's my Sister." He said as a frown creased his brow. He had picked up the unmistakable essence of NyghtWolf. He rushed out of the bedroom and bounded up the hall towards the attic stairs. Another screech echoed throughout the Chateaux as he slapped a palm to the attic door. "It's Okay Nyghty. I'll get you out of there." He shouted as he took a step back from the door, ready to kick it open.

He leaned back and raised his right foot, tensing every muscle before he threw his weight forward and kicked at the door. The walls of the hallway shuddered with the impact but the door did not budge. The entrance had been sealed with some form of demonic power. Kane rebounded into the adjacent wall and slid to the floor. "Damn. It's no good. Only Terra can open that door." He said as he struggled to his feet. Another screech rang out and Kane twisted his head left and right, trying to pinpoint where the sound was coming from. He shouted in frustration. "Terra. Show Yourself. Free my goddamn Sister. Now"
　
Another scream ripped through the hallway and Kane heard voices coming from the attic. He could barely hear her, but it was NyghtWolf for sure. "Don't worry, Sis. I'll sort this out. Just hang on in there. Okay?"

Julius did not know how much time had passed. He remembered the shock of impact as the bullet struck his back and then the feeling of falling. The resucitation attempts had halted his death but he was not fully recovered yet. He opened his eyes and blinked in the dim light. He was inside the temple below the Fortress St. Jean. He was naked and helpless and felt the wounds in his chest as a congregation materialised from the shadows and circled the altar which he lay on. The hooded figures chanted an ancient incantation and Julius searched their faces for recognition. He thought he saw his Mother and Father as his eyes scanned the features beneath the hoods. The chanting became more frantic and he felt energy surging through the black granite of the altar. His chest began to throb as the bones began to knit together and his flesh wrapped around it and fused. He smiled as a priest held a goblet above him and then tipped it. Hot virgin blood flowed from the receptacle and splashed across his chest and neck. Within minutes he felt whole again. Demonic power surged through his veins. He opened his mouth and roared before raising himself to a sitting position. He lifted his face to the ceiling and threw up his arms and shouted. "Praise be to the Gods of Marseille. I live again. I am reborn"

Parker sat in the chair and a bead of sweat formed on his brow and rolled into his left eye. He wiped it off with his left hand and listened to her mocking summary. She prattled off a few examples of her unsavory business dealings and Parker started to get angry. Damn! She was treating him like something stuck to her shoe. His eyes fixed to hers in a demonic stare and he had to prevent his temper from rising by thinking of something else. His eyes lowered to her chest and he lost himself in thoughts of burying his face in that deep hot cleavage.

He found himself smiling and nodding as her breasts heaved and he let himself relax. He started to breath slowly and sat back in the chair. His daydreams were interrupted when Deathtraps phone beeped. His eyes flashed back to the perfect face of Terra as Deathtrap walked to the door. The glass sucked open and the room darkened. Sergei now stood in the doorway. His massive frame filled the entrance and he looked down at Parker with a menacing smile. Terra got up from her desk and brushed Parkers knee with her thigh as she bounded out of the office and turned left down the hallway. Death Trap followed her. Sergei turned slowly and headed out of the office. Parker had to follow like a lost sheep. Was he out of his league? This show of arrogance and power from the Marseille Elite made him feel useless and small.

[3]He stood and took his guns off Terras desk. He slipped them into his belt and turned to watch Sergei leave the office. This guy was huge and clearly demonic. Power seemed to eminate from his every cell. Parker sighed and paced after him, turning left down the hall and through a door which led to steps out into the parking area. Sergei disappeared through a doorway leading to the garage and soon a long black limo hissed to a stop at the exit. Deathrap walked up to the blacked out window. The door opened and she spoke to a man inside. She opened the door and Terra dropped lazily onto the black leather seats. All that Parker could see of the mans features were sharp white teeth and those eyes. Deep staring eyes which seemed to bore into his soul. That was Kane. He was sure of it. Parker shuddered as a feeling of dread gripped his mind and traced icy fingers up his spine. He stood motionless as Terra laughed and taunted him. Deathtrap closed the door and got into the drivers seat. Sergei slid himself sideways to sit in the front passenger seat. The car pulled away and Kane winked through the darkened window. His eye shone like a diamond and his smile graced his lips like the snarl of a pure black tiger.

Xymara walked up to him and kissed his cheek. He lowered his face so she could reach him and continued to scan the room as she hugged him tightly. The hump of her pregnant belly pressed to his hip, the baby inside wriggling and kicking, as if disturbed. He pushed her away and turned around. He walked back to the doorway and made sure his silhouhette was backlit from the neon lights in the lobby. He lifted his chin and raised both arms before shouting. "Greetings my friends and loyal subjects. I am so glad you made time to join me in this most momentous occasion. I will be taking care of Marseillan affairs in my Fathers absence. I am assured of your loyalty."
　
　
He looked around the room with his hands still raised and waited for praise. The room fell silent for a second. Then the room exploded with gunfire. A crack like thunder echoed through the club as his chest exploded and sprayed the interior with blood, guts and bone. Julius' eyes widened in shock and his mouth dropped open. A second shot came and crashed into his left shoulder. His knees buckled and his torso twisted violently clockwise. He fell to the ground with his legs crumpled beneath him.. His back hit the tiles and blood fountained from the gaping hole in his chest. He clawed at his ribs in agony. Blood pumped through the gaps in his fingers. Then his eyes fluttered weakly and closed.

Julius was still in bed when he got the call from his Father. "Look after our interests, Son. I am going to Italy for the wedding." Kane said.
　
"Yeah, fine. I am on it." Julius answered before his Father hung up abruptly. Their relationship was strained and Julius had not proven himself yet in his Fathers eyes. Maybe this was a chance to shine, so Julius leaped out of bed and ordered his two bedwarmers to get dressed and leave. He was staying in the Hotel Chateaux D'If, on an island in the mouth of the harbour.
　
Julia and Tasmin got dressed in silence as Julius got in the shower and shouted for them to be ready for him tomorrow evening. They cheerily obeyed and shouted goodbye before scurrying out of his suite and back to their apartments he rented for them in the commercial quarter.
　
He was soon ready, dressed in his shiny jacket and hand made shoes. He headed for the jetty and boarded a yacht, heading for the old port and then to the Opera House. The club was a good place to start his day. Many of the Marseille Elite met there and Amber had an apartment on the top floor.
　
He opened the doors and entered, scanning the dimness of the club to see if he could spot any familiar faces.

Kane woke to a nudge in the back from his adoring Wife and slowly turned over to face her. His hand extended to her cheek as she spoke and he caressed her features, smoothing his fingers over her smooth warm skin and then tracing her lips with his thumb as she smiled warmly and told him. "C'mon Lover. We got a big day ahead."
　
He looked into her large almond eyes and felt the love eminate like a deliscious warm wave which seemed to smother his soul in warm honey, coating him in rich syrup and now she was licking him clean. He sighed with happiness and contentment, knowing he had the most beautiful Wife he could imagine, with the most vital heart and exciting charisma and the allure to tug yearning from his very being like the claws of a huge golden eagle, drawing out his love and lust and his need. Yes, he needed her. He could not survive without her. They argued alot, but the arguments just made them love each other more afterwards, as if highlighting how much they cared for each other by showing their differences and then bringing them back together again and fusing their souls.

"Aah. Stop nagging" Kane said, with mock seriousness and kissed her brow before rolling out of bed and walking naked into the ensuite shower. He shouted over the sound of water spewing from the faucet. "I will meet you at the airport. I have a few things to sort out before we go to Italy."
　
Nina was getting married to Altair but had told her Mom that she didn't want a big lavish wedding. Terra had been dissapointed, of course, but had grudgingly accepted their decision on the understanding that she would at least be present at the ceremony. Alison and Kane would also have to be there. So Kane got himself dressed quickly and headed for his office at the Hotel Veiuw Port to clear up a few loose ends before heading for the airport.
　
He kissed his Wife before leaving and assured her he would not be late. He drove to the Marseille City Centre and parked outside the Hotel. Once inside his office he made a call to Julius, Sergei and Cousin and told them to look after Marseille until he got back. He grabbed his pre-packed travel case and headed for Marseille Airport. He left his car with the VIP valet service and breezed through customs with the usual arrogance he adopted. Soon he was climbing the steps into the private jet and entering the luxurious cabin. He greeted Altair with a handshake and kissed Nina, Terra and Alison. He buckled up and ordered champagne and readied himself for take-off.
